King Cake Baby is a band with a mission: to bring a little of that rolling, tumbling, bouncing and rollicking New Orleans music to Tokyo audiences. Their repertoire features standards and favorites made famous by New Orleans music legends such as Dr. John, the Meters, the Wild Tchoupitoulas, Professor Longhair, the Neville Brothers and others, as well as their own original music with a distinctly New Orleans flavor. You just can't help but get with it!

This will be King Cake Baby's 2nd Tokyo gig, and it's happening at a very special and unique venue: the Tokyo Masonic Center, just next to Tokyo Tower. The show will take place in a nice, big spacious room, no crowding into a tiny basement and avoiding other folkvs elbows: room to move, room to stretch out, room to dance... whatever you like.

Remember, the entry fee of 2500 yen includes refreshments (wine, cheese, that kinda thing)
