That the hurdler Harry Hillman deserved his own band became clear after he won three gold medals at the Olympic Games in 1904. Exactly 105 years later he got it: “The Great Harry Hillman”. This band is full of life! Through extensive touring in Europe, the band has developed a unique, distinct and catchy sound, which has been captured on the three albums “Livingston” (2013), “Veer Off Course” (2015) and „TILT“ (2017 – Cuneiform Records). Their entirely original compositions are written with a passion for detail, only to be at times interrupted by intense improvisation. This is the jazz of today, and Harry Hillman would be pleased.
