The duo creates a new sound with a variety of techniques, despite the seemingly classical composition of violin and piano. Terunai's delicate pianissimo evokes the tranquil forest of a Tarkovsky film, while his fortissimo evokes the grandeur of a piano concerto. Kita's violin, on the other hand, combines the sense of "pause" of traditional Japanese music with a timbre reminiscent of Eastern folk instruments. At times it reveals hidden, intense emotions. They are one of the most unique improvisational duos in Japan.
