The fifth day of MIMINOIMI, titled "Abstract and Concrete," will feature three artists, FourColor, H.Takahashi, and Akhira Sano, and DJ Nick Luscombe (MSCTY Studio).

FourColor is the solo project of Minamo member Keiichi Sugimoto, who since his first album in 1999 has been carving out his own unique ambient world, passing through drone, electronica, etc. H.Takahashi has been creating music since the 2010s, H.Takahashi is an artist who, since the 2010s, has established a minimalist and beautiful sound world using simple production methods such as the iPhone, and has brought the world into a "quiet" frenzy. Furthermore, Akhira Sano is a multimedia artist who freely traverses the realms of sound recording, drawing, and installation, and has been attracting a great deal of attention for his serene sound design, especially since the 2020s.

Of course, it is not easy to summarize the practices and methodologies of the three artists, but they have been working on the foreground (figure) and background (ground) of sound, which contrasts with the relationship between melody and accompaniment that normal music has (we may position these as figurative and abstract), which ambient has trumped. The music seems to continue to question the interesting theme of conscious and unconscious listening in a unique way. Nick Luscombe (MSCTY Studio), who has been active as a DJ for the BBC and other organizations, will be DJing on this day, as well as working on various soundscape projects.

The organizers hope that the day's program will open up a new world of sound within the audience.

「抽象と具体」と題されたMIMINOIMI 5日目は、FourColor、H.Takahashi、Akhira Sanoの3名のアーティストと、DJのNick Luscombe(MSCTY Studio)を迎え行われます。

FourColorはMinamoのメンバーでもある杉本佳一のソロプロジェクトであり、1999年のファーストアルバム以降、ドローン、エレクトロニカなどを通過しつつ独自なアンビエントの世界を切り開いてきたアーティストです。H.Takahashiは2010年代以降、iPhone等によるシンプルな制作方法で、ミニマルで美しい音の世界を確立し、世界中を「静かな」熱狂に巻き込んできたアーティストです。更に、Akhira Sanoは録音作品、ドローイングやインスタレーションなどの領域を自由に横断するマルチメディアアーティストで、特に2020年代以降、静謐なサウンドデザインで大きな注目を集めているアーティストです。

勿論、3名のアーティストの実践や方法論を簡単にまとめることはできませんが、彼らはアンビエントが切り崩してきた、通常の音楽が持っているメロディーと伴奏の関係性（これらを具象、抽象と位置づけることもできるのではないでしょうか）に対比される、音の前景（図）・後景（地）、意識的な聴取・無意識的な聴取という興味深いテーマをユニークな形で問い続けているようにも見受けられます。なお、この日はDJとしてBBC等で活動を行う一方、様々なサウンドスケープのプロジェクトを行うNick Luscombe(MSCTY Studio)がDJを行います。

この日のプログラムを通し、来場する皆さんの中で、新しい音の世界が切り開かれる事を主催者は願っています。
