In 2020, brewer Satoshi Niwa's new challenge began at Kamado Brewery in the Tono region of Gifu Prefecture.

The Tono region is Niwa's hometown, where he once brewed beautiful sake, and where he has returned to after 10 years.
Kamado Brewery was born out of a meeting between Niwa, a craft beer master, and two beer lovers who love the region.

The name "Kamado" was chosen because the Tono region is one of the most famous ceramic areas in Japan, as represented by Mino ware, and the "Kiln Kamado" is like a symbol of the hearts of the potters in the region.
What can we do for this region through beer to keep the fire of Kamado alive?

We are committed to creating a new beer culture by combining the creativity of legendary brewers with the ceramic industry, climate, and culture of this region.
