The first set will be a solo guitar performance. For the second set, I'll be joined by the wonderful vocalist  Micoru Ichikawa.

Earlier this April, Mikoru invited me to perform with her at theTenowa Yoichievent in Kokubunji. The event introduced us as"a duo featuring a guitarist influenced by Erik Satie, Thelonious Monk, and Kurt Weill, whose music centers on improvisation and original compositions, together with a vocalist who brings her own unique interpretations to everything from Brazilian music and Japanese popular songs to rock."We had such a great time performing together that I immediately wanted to invite her to join me for this concert.

We'll be playing Brazilian music—including songs by Milton Nascimento—as well as jazz standards, and this time we'll also perform some of Mikoru's original compositions.

Micoru's voice and lyrics have a remarkable emotional depth that truly stay with you. I'm very much looking forward to sharing the stage with her again.

For my solo set, I'll be playing original compositions along with a few pieces from Venezuela and Brazil.
