Is is that time again? Oh you luck lucky people I do believe it is. Ladies and Gentlemen its time for your favourite monthly musical mouthful of Gamuso Live. Headlining this month we have returning heroes The Watanabes hot on the back of the release of their new album 'You`re dancing I`m absorbed'. Providing able support shall be Gamuso stalwarts rock, funk, pant wettingly noise makers PlayFight and Gamuso newbies the incomprehensibly good (and prouncable) Pata Fla-Fla with their own take on some dirty dirty 50s rock 'n' roll. Opening the night shall be the sumptuous solo stylings of Laurier, one half of the wonderfully whimsical Nature Airliner. Plus some ginger numpty DJ and some midget related abuse.

Gamuso Live for all your aches and pains.

Band Info
The Watanabes
The Watanabes are a Tokyo based indie rock band, with members from curvaceous island nations such as the UK, New Zealand and Japan, and other pretty places like Sweden. The band formed in 2005 in the orange-laden prefecture of Ehime, and 2 years later we packed up and shifted it to Tokyo, in search of new inspiration and regular trains.

We are happy to announce that our new album, `You`re dancing I`m absorbed`, is complete and now available. Recorded under the wise Glaswegian eye of producer Dave Naughton, the 12 tracks are a mixture of pretty lively indie guitar pop with a smattering of more stripped back, dreamy folk. Many thanks to the people who helped us get it done and we`re looking forward to giving the new tracks a crack on stage over the coming months.

Laurier
One half of Natural Airliner. Eiko (vocals) had never sung professionally before and never dreamed of being a singer. Laurier (guitar) played various instruments in more indie rock bands than you can shake a stick at; most of them are infamous. In the summer of 2010 they joined forces to start playing unplugged shows of Laurier's unreleased songs which suited Eiko's voice. The first single, "Merry Christmas (to Our Loved Ones)" was released November 1st, 2010, and the first EP was launched November 15th, 2010. Both are available on itunes. Yamaha provided them with a Silent Guitar ™ as an endorsement on November 26th, 2010. In December 2010 they accomplished a successful mini tour of Micronesia, culminating in a two-night stint at the Hard Rock Café Guam.

An album is planned. Videos are pondered. European and North American tours are dreamed of. Please stay tuned.
