Blues! The Blues night you don't want to miss!
Come down to this cozy jazz bar in Kichijoji this Saturday night! It's a Blues night you don't want to miss.
The band is led by Minoru Noda (vo/gtr), who used to support B.B. King during his Japan tours back in the
1970s. His emotional weeping guitar solos are extremely touching. Another frontman is Taro Senga (vo/harp), who is internationally known as the former child prodigy. The other frontman is one of the best young blues guitarists in the Tokyo area today, Jetman. You must see for yourself! Lastly, the rhythm section is formed by Minoru’s son, Shinobu Noda (bass) and Hideki Nakayama (drms). They are all very well-experienced fine blues musicians.
No cover charge! Please just tip them if you like their music! See you at Foxhole on the 27th!!
Acoustic & jazz bar
Getting to Foxhole: It's a quick and easy walk from JR Kichijoji station (Sobu/Chuo line). Just come out at the North exit (not the Park exit) - that's the one that faces the bus plaza. Then walk along the tracks in the direction of Nakano/Shinjuku. The tracks will be on your RIGHT side as you are walking. You'll first (immediately) cross the big two-way street, then it's just another four streets til the Foxhole, on the left side of the street. If you pass the 7-11, you've gone too far! The walk takes about 2 minutes.
