Derek Short (bass), Tom Pierson (piano) and Hiroki Murakami (drums) (aka The DTH Trio) will perform on Tuesday, Feb 7th (2月7日) at Absolute Blue (http://absol.blue/) in Ikebukuro. Please join us for a night of cool, funky, jazzy, sophisticated MUSIC !!!

Doors open 7pm and showtimes are around 7:30PM and 9PM. Live Charge is ¥3,000 .

 Derek is a popular 6 sting bassist as well as a composer, arranger and band leader. He is from Chicago and has performed in many countries in many genres as a leader and as a support musician for many famous artists. He is known for using many different techniques such as slapping and tapping on his bass to create many unique sounds and textures.

デレックはシカゴ出身の6弦ベーシスト、作曲家、アレンジャーです。

様々な国で様々なジャンルを演奏。スラッピング、タッピング、

などのベースの様々な演奏手法を使用し、個性的なサウンドをクリエイト。

 Tom is from New York and is a well know pianist, educator, composer and arranger who has worked on film soundtracks with artists such as Woody Allen and many others and also on Broadway and he was the arranger for the musical and film Godspell.

トムはニューヨーク出身のピアニスト、作曲家、アレンジャー、コダクターで、ウッディ・アレンの映画音楽やブロードウェイミュージカルの音楽の多くを担当。

 Hiroki is one of the busiest, most talented and hardest working drummers in Tokyo and the list of bands and artists he has performed with is too long to list here. Let us just say that he is the glue that holds this unit together.

村上広樹は最も才能豊かな素晴らしいドラマーで、陰ながらこのユニットをタイトにしてくれている大きな存在です。
