Back From The Grave: Last Live At Jam
After 37 years in business, the magnificent venue hunkered off the edge of Golden-Gai, Shinjuku Jam, will close its doors for good at midnight, January 1st, 2018.
Legendary promoter, DeeJay, and globetrotting playboy Caveman Takahashi a.k.a. Daddy-O-Nov began his foray into punk, hardcore, and garage punk inside the smokey bowels of Jam with his event Emotional Market, and set the stage for garage punk royalty like the 5.6.7.8's, Guitar Wolf, and Mad 3 to start their own musical careers with his Back From The Grave event in 1989.
After being banned from Jam back in 1991, the godfathers of Tokyo trash Texaco Leatherman alongside an army of rock and roll motherfuckers will take to the stage, the wheels of steel, and the goddamn dance floor for one final hurrah before Jam fucks off for good. 120% Garage Punk accept no goddamn substitutes.
