●Meeping 

 

Meeping is a four-piece American dream pop/post-punk band from Portland, Oregon. Their sparkly, melody-driven songs drip with buttery vocals and bass lines made for dancing along with the beat. Meeping formed in Spring 2019 as a joint project between vocalist and lead songwriter Rachel Zakrasek, bassist Jake Pettit, and drummer Daniel Baltazar. Lead guitarist Julia Mahncke joined in Fall 2019.

Meeping's first album will release December 6, 2019 and they are touring the Pacific Northwest and Japan this winter with a full live show including songs off their first album and their second album currently in the works. Meeping live shows incorporate video projection, costumes and improvisation that add an element of the strange to otherwise sweet pop songs.
