The 9th edition of "耳の糧 - Food For Ears" will be held as a pre-event for the urban ambient festival "Ambient / Week 'Sense of Gradation’", taking place from May 5 to May 11, 2025. This special event will be hosted at the newly relocated and renovated Shibasaki mod.

This time, Kenny Ueda, known for releases on the ambient label Mystery Circles, will make his long-awaited live debut, performing for the first time with a full-band set featuring support members.

Joining the lineup is Nekomachi, who has released music on renowned ambient labels like Mystery Circles, Ume Records, and Shimmering Moods Records. The improvisational duo OiD, featuring Yu Ogu and Soma Hayato, will also take the stage, delivering their consistently high-quality and dynamic performances.

Returning to the stage is the duo of yk (Hello1103) and tatata5, who mesmerized audiences at Food For Ears vol.8 with their seamless interplay and distinctive sonic world. This time, they’ll take their improvised performance to an even deeper level.

The event also features a diverse range of artists, including Broken Shoulder, founder of Kirigirisu Recordings, who consistently releases beautiful lo-fi soundscapes; Fumiaki Odajima, whose background is  contemporary, works across multiple media, including sound and drawing; and 揚, who recently released a split remix album with 大山田大山脈 on 造園計画, one of the most exciting labels right now.

On DJ duties, 砂肝 will craft the perfect atmosphere with a deep and carefully curated selection of sounds.

The venue, Shibasaki mod, is an intimate space near Shibasaki Station, known for hosting underground experimental and ambient music events. After relocating and reopening this March, it now offers an even more immersive listening environment while maintaining its warm and welcoming atmosphere.

第9回となる今回の「耳の糧 - Food For Ears」は、2025年5月5日～5月11日まで開催される都市型アンビエントフェスティバル「Ambient / Week “Sence of Gradation”」のプレ・イベントとして、移転リニューアルしたShibasaki modにて行われます。

今回は、アンビエントレーベルMystery Circlesのリリースでも知られる音楽家Kenny Uedaが、サポートメンバーを迎え待望のフルバンドセットかつ初ライブパフォーマンスを披露。

また、同じくMystery Circles、梅レコード、Shimmering Moods Recordsなど、世界中の優良アンビエントレーベルからリリースを重ねるNekomachiや、安定感のあるクオリティーの高いパフォーマンスを続けるYu OguとSoma Hayatoによる即興ユニットOiDも出演。さらに、「耳の糧 - Food For Ears - vol.8」で見事に調和しながら独自の世界観を作り上げ、観客を魅了したyk（Hello1103）とtatata5のDUOが、より一層研ぎ澄ました即興パフォーマンスを披露します。

加えて、Kirigirisu Recordingsを主催し、ローファイな質感を持った美しい作品をコンスタントに発表するBroken Shoulderや、現代アートをルーツに持ち、音やドローイングを含む様々なメディアで表現活動を展開するFumiaki Odajima、今最も勢いがあると言っても過言ではないレーベル「造園計画」より大山田大山脈とのスプリットリミックス作品をリリースしたばかり揚をはじめ、多彩なアーティストが出演。

DJには、優れた感性とディープな選曲でイベントの流れを紡ぎ出す砂肝が参加し、会場を彩ります。

会場となるShibasaki modは、柴崎駅近くに位置し、アンダーグラウンドな実験音楽やアンビエント・イベントが開催されるスペースです。今月3月にリニューアル移転し、より一層音に集中できる環境とアットホームな雰囲気が魅力となっています。
