-THE KINLAY BAND: Mixing Rock with Funk & a new brand of Dance

Kinlay is a 4-piece band from Tokyo, Japan. Their second 8-track mini-album "Triple *R*" was released in May 2010. In 2009, Kinlay Band continued to build their sounds with elements of afrobeat and electronica playing venues like Seco Bar (Shibuya) and A971 & Super Deluxe (Roppongi) whilst digging into the Tokyo live house scene. They also built their own quarterly event "Kickstart Your Heart" at Club Edge (Roppongi) and supported Australian Bands Hoodoo Gurus and Regurgitator on their 2009 Japan Tours.

-NEON GRAVITY: New Generation Dance-Rock Unit

Founded in 2008 to create "ORIGINAL DANCE MUSIC FROM TOKYO, JAPAN" at an international level. The same year, the band was already playing the DANCE STAGE at one of Japan's largest festivals, SUMMER SONIC.
Their unique sound is characterized by he combination of sequenced beats and human drums (fused into a "TWIN BEAT"), live and sampled instruments, and synthesizers.
Incorporating fundamentals of breakbeats, electro, hip hop, ska, dub, etc., this new generation dance-rock unit shakes dancefloors in each and every direction.
NEON GRAVITY's distinctive, high-energy, in-your-face live performance is a definite must see and should not be missed.

-SPEAKER SGT: Groove Jazz

Started in Tokyo 2006, Instrumental Jazz/Hip-Hop group Speaker Sgt. spreads the word “Groove Jazz” in the Tokyo club scene.
Lead by (guitarist) Iwao Ochi delivers beautiful riffs and melodic solos over Grooves produced by (drummer) Toshi Kasuga and (bassist) Shigeki Umezawa being the heartbeat and backbone of the band.
They were first heard on released compilation album “Man Machine” in 2008 playing “The Number Song(CUT CHEMIST REMIX)” by DJ SHADOW which released a 12 inch analog EP in 2009.
Their first full album “Speaker Sgt.” released in April 2010.

-DJ RYUICHIRO (Pinacolada Records)

Ryuichiro has worked in the dance music scene as a DJ/Producer for more than 10 years. In New Zealand he hosted a radio show on rdu, House Werk, and started the first show of this kind in New Zealand playing updated '80s sounds, Electroglam, to influence on South Island House culture. His distinctive obese groove always got people dancing and his list of parties it topped with a legendary outdoor party, Alpine Unity. After he moved to Hong Kong, he had Drum'n Bass and House residency at Yumla. He has also played in China, Macao, Thailand, Taiwan and Indonesia. While he actively traveled around for DJing in Asia, he produced original tracks with heavy basslines and vocal as his signature. In Tokyo, Ryuichiro has been playing at Deep/Tech House event, Phonika, from day one as a support DJ to explore new directions in sound.

ハウスのみならずドラムンベースのDJ/プロデューサーとしてニュージーランドと香港を中心に10年以上活動してきた彼は、ニュージーランドのラジオ局rduのスペシャリストショーHouse Werkのホストや、今や全盛感のある80年代絡みのサウンドをニュージーランドで初めて中心としたElectroglamを始めるなどニュージーランド南島のハウスカルチャーに大きく影を与えた。彼のプレイは独特の太さとグルーブで常にフロアを動かし、ニュージーランド最大級の伝説のアウトドアパーティー useのイベントPhonikaで初回からサポートDJとして参加するなど、新しい音の表現の開拓も忘れていない。
