We present to the world a monumental work of variations that aims to "fuse" two seemingly disparate concepts: "Bruckner" and "guitar."
For any composer, writing a large-scale work of variations is one of their "dreams." While referencing ancient techniques, I will seek out something even more captivating in Bruckner's themes, presenting this as variations, sometimes overtly and sometimes subtly.
In addition, Toshiya Watanabe, who has achieved remarkable results in guitar music in recent years, has been commissioned to write an "Intermezzo" related to Bruckner.
Through Tsunehito Tsuchihashi's sincere, focused, and creative performance, a truly unprecedented piece of music will be born.
