Junko Umihara Graduated
from Tokyo Jikei University of Medicine From
the age of 19 to 24, she worked as an exclusive singer at a club in Shinjuku and earned living expenses and graduated from university.
At the age of 25, he sang the theme song of the Fuji TV drama from Phonogram and released it.
Although she made her major debut, she became a doctor and sealed her music activities.

She started her music activities again in 1999.
In the fall of 2019, she released the jazz album "RONDO", which includes the original.
In the fall of 2021, she created a jazz album including the original, and a two-disc album as an attempt to collaborate on music and medicine during the coronavirus pandemic. "Then and Now" (with talk CD) was released.
It is also distributed as a project of "Jazz and Little Stories Evening".

AKIRA ISHI(p)

Born in Kawasaki City.

While studying composition at Osaka College of Music, he was shocked to hear Bill Evans and aspired to become a pianist.

After graduating, he began working in Kansai and moved his base to Tokyo in '91.
He met Toshio Osumi (DS) and joined the trio. He met numerous players and vocalists and began to perform, compose, arrange, and produce.
He has participated in the Hino Komasa (TP) Quintet since 98 and is greatly influenced by the late Motohiko Hino (DS).

In 2001, he released his first leader album "Voices in The Night" (EWE) with an original trio consisting of Masayuki Tawarayama (b) and Yoshito Eto (ds), followed by his solo album "Presence" (EWE) in 02, and released a duo album with Steve Swallow (b) recorded in New York called "That Early September" (EWE). In 03 and 04, the trio released "Synchronicity" (EWE) and "Embrace" (EWE) and continued their energetic activities.

In 2010, he wrote his first book, "Transcendent Jazz Piano" (Ritto Music).

In 2011, he released the solo piano album "a~inspiration from muse" (Studio TLive Records).
In the same year, Tomokazu Sugimoto (B) was newly welcomed as a trio, breaking new ground. He also formed a new quartet. The sound consisting of Shinpei Ryuke (TP), Ryu Kawamura (B), and Yoshito Eto (DS) is not only an enlarged trio, but also a unique sound world is expanding. As the culmination of this trio and quartet sound, they released "Endless Flow" (Studio TLive Records) in June 2014.

In 2017, he formed the "Chamber Music Trio". They are aiming for a new expression as a jazz trio featuring two stringed instruments, Takashi Sugawa (VC) and Tomokazu Sugimoto (b).

In addition, he participated in the piano trio of Scene of Jazz (Daiki Yasukagawa, Masahiko Osaka) and Boys Trio (Hideaki Kanazawa, Shun Ishiwaka). Yugengo ~ YU-GEN-KYO (Motohiko Ichino GT, Hiroshi Yoshino B, Shota Koyama DS) Quartet will also be hosted.

Its wide range of musicality even gives the listener a multifaceted impression, but at the root of it is always a sincere attitude towards music and an overflowing and flexible vitality. These are sublimated into art by their unique rich expressiveness and excellent sense of balance, and they have attracted many people.

A Jazz Cafe where you can enjoy the Jazz music, enjoy our delicious Burgers and Sweets or if you just want to read a book.

We offer veriety of delicious foods and drinks where we have passion from NewYork which we used to live back in the day. 

On Tuesdays and wednesday are Jazz Live performance which our fascinating artist perform amazing Jazz Music. 

This year is our 15th Aniversary and we are grateful to have our customers that has supported us all these years.
