東京初！近年のチックスの活動の全容を網羅して上演！

日本初公開のハイヒールギター「E-shoe」を始め、チックス・オン・スピードがここ数年で発明したオブジェクト楽器の数々を使用した新作アートパフォーマンス上演します。

更にパフォーマンス中には、２００８年５月にチックスが京都国立近代美術館にて制作したビデオ作品も上映される予定です。

この一夜限りの特別なパフォーマンスは、ニューメディア・パフォーマンス、レクチャー、エレクトロ・ポップ・ミュージックを通じて、コンテポラリー・アートの過激な楽しみへと観客を誘います。

Presents all aspects of their current work.

Chicks on Speed will present the high-heeled shoe guitar, for the first time in Japan, and other object instruments that the Chicks have invented in the last few years.

The programme will include video pieces made in May 2008 at MOMAK, the National Museum of Modern Art, Kyoto.

This special evening will lead the viewer through new media performance and lecture to electro pop anthems deconstructed in a painful pleasure for the contemporary art experience.

（１分間の教育的パフォーマンスの連作）

実験的状況の中でのアート。この作品は制限されたフォーマットでパフォーマンスの道具、ステージ、映像、ファッション、振り付け、そしてニューメディアボディ楽器を使用して、一連の教育的イベント創作する事で、思考を刺激し、学究的な世界とアートの創造の場との対話を引き起こします。

Programme 2: Prototype Hits

(A series of 1 minute instructional performances)

Art in a state of experiment; presented in a condensed format, using tools of performance, stage, film, fashion, Choreography and new media body instruments to produce streaked instructive “events”, that  provoke thought and invoke discussion between academia and artistic production.
