Foxhole's monthly blues jam is held on Saturday, September 7, 2013. The session host is Mr. Tsutsumi, a well experienced funky sax player. Open to anybody that wants to play the blues with other musicians. The venue is a cozy jazz bar in Kichijoji managed by a music loving couple. There are a number of regular members who are good enough to support beginners. If you love the blues, please join us! You can just come and watch others play, which is fun too. The admission fee is 500 yen for a player and no charge for a non-player. There are always at least a few English-speaking people there if you need any help.

Getting to Foxhole: It's a quick and easy walk from JR Kichijoji station (Sobu/Chuo line). Just come out at the North exit (not the Park exit) - that's the one that faces the bus plaza. Then walk along the tracks in the direction of Nakano/Shinjuku. The tracks will be on your RIGHT side as you are walking. You'll first (immediately) cross the big two-way street, then it's just another four streets til the Foxhole, on the left side of the street. If you pass the 7-11, you've gone too far! The walk takes about 2 minutes.
